How to Improve Your Knowledge

How to Improve Your Knowledge – And so you might say, you don’t want to fail or you wish to avoid failing at all cost. Well if you take this view, and more importantly if you stick with this viewpoint then you are far likely to achieve less in your whole life. So what would have been your legacy? Some people are just happy getting by, and it is the same people who wonder how these successful people manage to achieve so much and acquire far more. As you read on you will begin to discover how this is done, and what you need to do if you really want to compete in the 21st century job market.

You need to be aware you are no longer competing with your neighbour(s), we live in a globalised economy which means that you are now competing with candidates from around the world, and therefore you are going have to look at ways of improving yourself, gaining new knowledge and crucially learning how to market yourself far better than the rest of the competition.

For instance, I will always urge people to attend interviews, sometimes just for the sake of it, as it helps you in improving your skills and gives you more confidence for when you might really need to make that all important move! A lot of people get scared of interviews, and so how do you deal with this fear? The only way is to go for more interviews, as you will learn from your mistakes. It is like anything in life, the more you do the better you become. So don’t be put off by attending interviews, it is part of your learning process, and it is important you view this as part of your education, as it will shape the rest of your life.

The key to dealing with fear is preparation, the more prepared you are the less likely you are to make any mistakes in the interview, as you will know ahead of time what causes a fear of interviews. So be sure to read books pertaining to interviewing, as it will increase your knowledge of what to expect, help you practice your responses to questions, and give you the confidence that you can do well.

Another key to improving your level of preparation is in learning about the history of the profession, and learning everything you can about the right suppliers, and the best places to source for your ingredients. It is great when you can source for information from your own immediate family and friends, but some sources for information may need you to spend some money on obtaining more information.

Use yourself

I was reading a book the other day, and I found an online source for free, for practicing interviews. It is calledAn Interview Certification Handbookthat I found very interesting. All you need to do is to visit the links below and use the form the choose your country and then submit it for certification.

The link to submit your application ishttp://www.interviewtraining.com/

And then look up the country you would like to get some training from. You will find that there are many links to select from. I particularly liked the one that says you can train from $ thousands of dollars away.

It just shows that you can get trained for free, from the comfort of your own home. If you need more information please feel free to contact me onHelen@GetAFreelancer.com How to Improve Your Knowledge
